Yellowstone

Over memorial day weekend we visited Yellowstone National Park; we were expecting cooler weather, but were surprised to wake up the morning after we arrived to find 5 inches of snow on the ground. The snow didn't hamper our explorations of the park; we took several hikes,saw plenty of buffalo and elk, some fascinating geyesers, hot springs, and paint pots. We stayed in the Old Faithful Inn and loved warming ourselves by the fireplaces in the massive entry way. Our favorite part was visiting with our family.
